Spring Clothing Drive

Join us for Southmoor’s SPRING Clothing Drive & Free Sale!

 

Due to your great participation and success of our fall event, we are doing it again — just in time for Earth Day! 

 

We know it is time for spring cleaning and the big seasonal clothing sort for your kids! Make plans now to bring your donations to Southmoor after spring break. 

 

Drop off Your Kids’ Clothes: Wed. April 2 to Wed. April 16, anytime. Sizes 3/4T (XS)  - 12/14 YO (XL) kids clothes (any), shoes and summer items (like swimsuits, rash guards, hats, water shoes). Drop boxes labeled by size will be available at the Southmoor Elementary main entrance. 

 

NEW: We are collecting bikes, scooters, skateboards and helmets too! Donations can be brought during morning drop off (8am) and after school pick up (3pm)  at the back parking lot entrance to school. 

 

Free Shop Days: Thursday, April 17, 4-6pm, and Friday, April 18, 8am-12:30pm, Southmoor Elementary Gym. (Enter at the parking lot door.) Items will be distributed throughout the event so come any time! Bring your own shopping bags. No need to donate to access the Free Shop — it’s open to everyone! 

 

Accepted items: Clean, gently worn shirts, shorts, dresses, suits, coats, sweaters, pants, pajamas, socks, shoes, hats, swimsuits and summer gear of all types.

 

Excluded items: Underwear and anything with stains or holes.

 

Your help is needed to make this happen. Sign up today to volunteer to sort clothes, set up, host the free sale or clean up after the event.

If you cannot attend the shopping days, volunteer shoppers can collect items for you and deliver them. Just fill out this Google Form.

Family Board Game Night

Come connect with Southmoor families and students while playing your favorite board game. Bring your own to share or choose one from our awesome collection. We will have games in the gym, library, and cafeteria, AND there will be snacks :) Please come with your student as this is not a drop-off event. It will be on Wednesday, February 19th from 6-7:30PM.
