This event invites families to the school to explore cultures and ethnicities with other members of the school community through storytelling, food, dance, arts many other things that make cultures unique.

Each month during the school year, moms get together for an evening of cocktails, snacks and socializing. There is no cost for those who purchased a package at the Southmoor auction. A $20 donation is requested if you didn't purchase this package. All proceeds go to the Southmoor PTO.

In the fall of each school year, Southmoor volunteers put together an amazing carnival for our students, their families and community. The event provides carnival games, inflatables, music, food and more!

Tickets can be purchased in advance by pre-order or at the door. Many volunteers are needed for event setup, cleanup and overseeing games and activities.

Each year, Southmoor hosts a Scholastic Book Fair. This event is an opportunity for students of all ages to build their home libraries and further their love of reading. As always, all purchases benefit our school.

This is an opportunity for parents to learn more about our school, get acquainted with the school administrators and teachers, and most importantly, get excited about all the wonderful things to look forward to as a family approaches this milestone.

Every child wants to surprise their family & friends for the holidays! We partner with Penguin Patch Holiday Shop to gives students an opportunity to shop for gifts at kid-friendly prices right at school. This program teaches students budgeting, problem solving and independence. Gifts prices range from 25 cents to $12, with 60% of items under $3 each. A percentage of the proceeds come back to Southmoor.

Once a year we get the opportunity to dedicate a full week to all things related to reading. School wide events are planned to make this week extra special and instill a love of learning in students.

The fun run promotes healthy activity and builds school spirit all while raising money to support our school. With the help of our event partner, students run laps to fun, high-energy music.

This adults-only evening event provides an opportunity for parents to socialize while they support our school. Auction items are donated by local businesses and families within our community, from vacation packages to gift certificates to special opportunities and activities.

The Annual All For One Golf Tournament began in May 2013 as a community fundraising service of the Southmoor Park South Neighborhood Association to benefit local schools. The money Southmoor receives from this event supports the student incentive and awards program which highlights and recognizes student growth and achievement.
